I don't remember anything special, protection wise, on SW3. Rip to HDD using DVDFab Decrypter and then process the movie with Recode.

Open Recode choose the type of backup you want i.e. full disc or movie only ( I prefer movie only for less compression and higher quality playback). Import the VIDEO_TS folder into Recode, remove all audio except AC3 5.1, remove any/all subtitles you don't want or need, set your target size to 4300 click next. I can't remember how much compression I used on this one, but if your ratio is lower than 75% use advanced analysis and slow burning options, then click burn and sitback and wait on your nice shiney new disc to be spit out.

Yes Recode is similar to Shrink in most respects. I think the same guy did both programs.

Recode is an excellent proggy IHOE, and yes it is made by Mr. DVD Shrink himself. A slicker interface and slightly faster, but basically the same proggy. The only thing I don't like about it is that you select Main Movie or Entire Disc before you see your compression ratio, whereas in DVD Shrink you get the quick analysis and then you choose your poison...LOL

Love recode, it is much faster than Shrink. You can choose the advanced analysis for a 2pass and there is also AEC quality enhancements like Shrink, the only thing is you have to change the value from regedit, and in order to do it you must have used Recode at least once. Why they made it like this I will never know, I wish they would just let you choose. The default is sharp, though, the same as Shrink.

HI I have copied this dvd with no problems with DVD X PLATINUM but again I have had problems with like of THE EXORCIMS OF MARY ROSE (at the moment),and I must admit PLATINUM a bit expensive if you would like to try that.
