exist a way to play this game (Non.Original)online...because..ive tried with a dnas and it works..but...when i download a patch (3Mb)...ive that reebot my ps2 and load the patch..but this say error...and i download again and it works fine...BUT...when im IN...a mesagge apear that say that im cheating and the server discont me...ive try 3 times..and the server ban me for 3 days...is possible play this game (non.original?..thanks.-

A Backed-up NTSC version of Socom 3 won't work online. I think it may have before the patch came out, dunnno.
Apparently a copy of the PAL version will work though. I'm about to try it myself.

the PAL version works, i have it and it worked online...the only problem is that u just need to find someone PAL to create you an account for u bcus u cant create urself an account from the US.

Also if you havnt done already or didnt know about it. If You have A NTSC PS2 then you need to change your ps2 machine id to PAL Region, so that the ps2 can play PAL games online.
Pm me if need any help with that.

Subzero06 is rigth!! The PAL version works!! I have it, and I play online with it!! But I am from Europe, so dont forget what jjc12345 said... I think that you have to do it....
To get SOCOM 3 PAL version, I used "emule" to download it, I think you can do the same....

Yup, got it working.
I'm not too sure what the deal is with the cred card registration though, I'm sure I read that you can only use a North American credit card.
Hopefully us PAL users will still get all the benefits that come with registering a CC (ranked games, friends list etc). I didn't check during the 5 minutes I was online, I just wanted to quickly see wether I could get onlne at all.
You could acquire a PAL version of SOCOM 3 from www.torrentspy.com or www.mininova.org. I suppose you could buy it too ;)
Apologies to mods if we're not supposed to post site names (Ithink we can though).

There's no Credit Card verification on the PAL version. You get all the features of the NTSC version without the CC hassle.

Yeah, but the patch they used on the NTSC version is being translated, and will be released here soon, so enjoy using a PAL backup while it lasts, it'll be over soon enough.
