I attempted to perform an upgrade on nero ultra 7, running on win2k system using nero's upgrade utility. Bad choice... After the upgrade was completed(?) I rebooted the system only to be stuck in a reboot loop. Safe mode is no help, after the second win2000 splash screen the system reboots.
Not a hardware problem, as I can remnove the win2k drive and slide in my win xp drive and all is well.
I dont know if the problem is a registry entry that occurres after the second spalsh screen, which I suspect or a boot record problem. As the system seems normal all the way up until the splash sreen I suspect the registry. Any similar problems?
