Kudos to Alcohol for his amazing guide.
Forgive me, please, if I'm asking the obvious, but which plug-in do i need to enable avi to dvd conversion? my copy of nero 7.x - and i only get the option to make a cd.

when you start Nero smart start, on the top you can change the option to have dvd.

ok, sorry for the first post - and for answering my own question. i just registered, uninstalled, cleantooled, and reinstalled nero(7.2.x). that option is now present.
