How to identify which PGC and VTS need blanking in VOBblanker

I am interested in concept and priciples of independently determining which things need blanking; and would like some clues as to how some of our more experienced people figure out what needs to be blanked. I have read some wonderful examples by alkohol but the ones I found were specific to which DVD -I am hoping he or another member can point me to a posting giving guideline on how to determine what to blank.

If you know such an article please copy it in the reply post or if you know how to determine what needs to be blanked please reply.
