backup a file larger than 4.7gb on a 4.7gb dvd-r?

Plz somebody tell me step by step because im new to this how i can backup a game bigger than 4.7gb onto a dvd-r disk only 4.7gb??

1. select Shrinker_ps2_psp_CdDvd5_iso.epi on the plugins list.
2. Select the iso.
3. Click extract LBA
4. Click extract file
5. Click rebuild file
6. Click rebuild lba.

i tried this a test to the program with GT4 (Gran Turismo 4) and it shrunk the file to 3.4gig or summit and it burnt but didn't work!!!!
does it only work for some games or did i do something wrong.

did you try gnies tool ? i used it for need for speen 3 remix made me a new iso and burnt and played fine
You can get ExPERT_v104 along with the rebuilding plugin from here.

yeah thats what i was using i have V4 and V5 and none of them worked???
i followed the steps and nothing. also DVD Decrypter was making .IOO & .IIO files as apose to a .ISO but this didnt stop the program from reading the files but maybe it didnt work because there is 3 files (including the .MDS), and the program is only shrinking one of them and not the other
if that makes any sense at all ???

try just burning the new mds file >>>>>>if there is one
that tool should have made u a new iso >>>>>did it ?
i use the mds file instead of iso and works fine

yeah it made me a new iso, but what im saying is when i originaly made an image using DVD Decrypter it made 3 files a .IOO(3.xxGIG) a .IIO(2.xxGIG) and a .mds file.
so i shrunk the file that was the biggest ... so maybe the game didnt work becuase the 2.xx GIG file is also required i assume for the game to work properly.
and about the mds file, i tried opeing the original one in DVD Decrypter and it was still linked to the old files thus still being over 5 GIG in size. And i tried opening the new ISO in DVD Decrypter but it says its missing a MDS file.
So i thought right i'll burn it in Nero, but back to the original problem it wont work because all the files required are not shrunk together ... you get me???

all games i have done with decrypter came up with 2 files a iso and a mds file .never seen this file u are talking about .just give the files a SWIFT KICK LOL

yeah not many people have, but i get it all the time now and its not usually a problem for smaller games because the mds file obviously links to the 2 files and it works a charm but i just want my ISO's back lol

are you burning to say c drive ps2 games folder
i burned n4speen dub edition to hard drive (got an iso and that came out to be almost double than most games used gnies tool to rebuild burnt game and works fine

cant be ... cuz sometimes it does it and sometimes it doesnt. ive never messed with the settings so cant be that. Im trying to make the image in Alcohol 120% instead and ill give it another go !!

here is a picture example of the multiple files, only this one is a dvd and has alot more but you get the idea

i still dont understand... i use dvd decrypter and go- ISO-READ then the file it makes is too big 4 the disks i use is there a way to shrink the size with dvd decrypter or is there a different program. if so plz tell me where 2 get it.
Also Neptune that link u put for expert v1.11 is just a RAR file.. what do i do with it??

i just decrypted gran torismo 4 i ended up with a iso file 5,189,920 kb and a mds file 9kb.i grabed the iso with gnies tool rebuilt it and came up with a 2,613,620kb file >>>>>burning the new iso now >>>>will let you know how it turns out

hello
you are getting 3 files IOO/IO1/MDS from DVD Decrypter because you are running on fat32,which cant handle files over 4gb,thats why it splits them
you need to convert to NTFS
cheers!!

yeah but i tryed to covert it but it wont convert, i have partition magic which is what i usualyy use, but i think i have to boot that on a floppy from DOS is that correct?

my dad has done myne beofre but i had to re-format them so they have gone back to fat32.
just need a floppy disc to but the program on now!! LOL
