Hi -

Putting a card reader into the spot when a floppy drive would go should be an easy install for the fit. My system has a card reader that is held in place by 2 small screws. Line up the reader with the front of your computer and tighten the screws to hold into place.

Now you need plug the small cord into your mother board from the reader. On my system there are two USB plugins on the front of the tower. These are plugged into a terminal called JUSB2 on my machine's motherboard. Unplug one of the two front USB plugs from the JUSB2 terminal on the motherboard and plug your card reader into that spot. This means one of the USB plugs on the front of the tower can not be used. That's the way it works on my system.

Be sure to have your card reader software to install when you turn your system on. It will say new hardware detected and it will ask for the software.

Again, on my system, the card reader is read as four individual drive letters for the various slots on the reader. Your memory cards can be treated just like a floppy disk once the reader is installed.
