i burnt a dvd last night with nero 7 - nerovision it took bout 2hrs

is this a normal burn time for this program????????

Depends what you started with. If you started with AVI or MPEG files then that is quite acceptable.
If you are BACKING up one of your movies then the time is not too flash.
