hi. i burned my backup with alcohol using my sony dvdburner at an 8x speed with my cd-r verbatim 52x, and it seems to work fine on my ps2 but when i load and do the swap method on my old psone it doesnt load at all!...

I also tried burning on a sony cd-r disc and it loads but it skips realy bad .. any ideassss need help

It could be laser problems. Try burning at 4x and if to no avail, clean the laser with some isopropyl alcohol.
