DVD-DL doesnt want to burn anything... :[

Hi guys!

I have a problem with my DVD burner.

I have Acer Aspire 3613WLMi laptop with TSSTcorp TS-L532U dual layer DVD burner.
I have a weird version of firmware AC04 which I havent fount anywhere here or elswhere.
The main problem is that the burner doesnt want to burn either DVD + and - Rs and CD-Rs :(
I need to make a copy of almost 30 GB of data and it is winding me up very much :(

I was trying to burn using NTI CD-DVD Maker 7 I was given with my laptop, Nero 7, and Alcohol 120%. I tried different settings, medias, and I don't know what to do else :(

Please HELP :( !!!

and now my laptop doesn want to boot and doesnt see the HDD ;(

i noticed that the DVDRW now is a Master drive :/ and I cant do any changes to it in bios as its a laptop :(

See if you can boot up in safe mode, then try and perform a system restore to a time before any changes were made, this will not effect the drives firmware since it's independent of the OS. If you can properly boot up after, and if the drive isn't damaged, apply the update suggested.

from the log all i can see is

media ID...TTG02 i believe is TDK manufactuer, not very good media

DVD CD-ROM the DMA is OFF. it needs to be ON

Physical memory 246mb
Free memory 35mb...24mb...48mb (from the 3 logs)
this is no where near enough ram, your system alone needs nearly all of your 246mb to operate. you need at least another stick of 256mb

Media Specific... is showing all 00000's

your burner is not recogniseing the media you are useing, see above
get some decent media. TY...Verb's or Ritek
make sure your firmware is up to date

how much free HDD do you have? you need at least 11gb to burn a 4.38gb disc

After the upgrade laptop restarted and displayed the message that it can't find the system. In bios it says that burner is an master now and HDD is not present :(

How I can now upgrade firmware so it will be as it was?? or i just can install my Win :(??

I cant even perform the recovery tool becouse it says that there is no disk ;(
