Since you have AnyDVD and CloneDVD just use that combo - easiest. Make sure your are using the latest versions of each.
Hitch has Sony's ARccOS on it - so shrink and decrypter need a little help.
What happened in Nero - did you get an error message?
Also with CloneDVD - what happened? Burned successfully but not playable maybe?
What brand of discs are you using?

Hi,
Don't have sure if using the latest versions of each, but i will find in the web new versions and triy again.
In the Nero de process couldn't finished. don't ask why?
With te CloneDVD is exactly as you said, burned successfully but can't pay!
I'm using Sony discs.
it may be a movie with Sony Arccos proteccion!
Don't you now any way to eliminate this proteccion?

AnyDVD and CloneDVD will handle/eliminate anything out there. Just make sure you are using the latest versions - 5.9.5.6 (anydvd) & 2.8.9.8 (cloneDVD). http://slysoft.com
I used AnyDVD to this one and either shrink or Clone(been awhile).
No playback problems.
Does the back up play in the pc? Not playing in the dvd player can be from a few things: burn speed, may not accept disc format (- or + r), drive may need a firmware update, media used (sony is usually good).
Some of this may also have played a part in the failed burn w/ Nero. The playback and failed burned are more drive/media related.
Nero saves a log and can you post that if like (the last one) - it will answer some of the questions above.
If using Nero 6 you can find it here: program files>Ahead>Nero?NeroHistory.txt
Nero 7: program files>Nero>Nero7>Core>Nerohistory.txt.
If you do just be sure to edit out your serial # - usually begins w/ 1A,1C 5C.

PS 10 VOBU 4 16 8 Clone 6 TCE

That's what it sounds like. Try cleaning the disc off.
Are you using the latest version of each program - AnyDVD (latest is 5.9.6.0 not what I posted above) and the latest CloneDVD?
Just curious - what region is this dvd?

If you've got and are using the lastest versions of anydvd and clonedvd2, but still can't get a successful back, then try.....

Anydvd comes with a ripper that can be used on problematic DVDs, use the ripper to transfer the video files to your HDD, then open the files using clonedvd2 and process as usual. This ripper can be accessed by right clicking on the red fox in your taskbar.

If you just can't get the movie to rip successfully, then it's possible that there may be something wrong with the disk itself (bad press), return the DVD and exchange it for another, then backup from that one.

;)

Hi binkie.

Use Anydvd and believe

Thanks for all the tips but with CloneDVD and AnyDVD i can't make a Hitch backup.
So, i look for other kind of tips and find one and decide to try.
In the end i only make a good backup, playing very well, with Nero Recode.
Problem solve.

Thanks any way!
