I'm having a lot of trouble backing-up the 2nd disc of the uk release that contains all the extras. It craps out on the 3rd VTS with anyDVD or DVDclone, or around 50 something percent on DVDshrink or DVDfab.

Any clues.

Thanks.

Are your programs current? Probably a defective disc...Have you tried the AnyDVD ripper?

have you tried running the files through VOB blanker before trying to re-encode them?i had asimilar problem with a history of violence.the VOB files containing the extras were riddled with errors that VOB blanker was able to fix.hope this helps!J

make sure your AnyDVD is up to date! It should work or the disk is bad! nothing special about it! but then again I am in USA not UK. good luck.

Appreciate everyone's advice.
I tried another time leaving CloneDVD to do it's business when I went out for the night, and checked it in the morning, and it DID rip, but it took over 6 hours!
It's doing this quite consistently, ripping, but, taking anything between 2-6 hours to do it.

Anyone?
Cheers.

Make sure that your drives haven't slipped into PIO mode.
