Hi guys

Found a few similar threads on here but not quite the same, and none with a fix unfortuanetly so thought i would open it up to try and get my self a fix!

Have put a Xecuter 2.6ce into a 1.6b xbox, everything went fine (have done many installs before) boots off bank 2 to the flashbios 3.03 screen no worries, however i cant get any response from the joystick!!!

im using an original MS controller (the one that came with it) and i have nothing else plugged into the xbox, my eject buttons etc are working fine.

I know the ports are ok as i turned the chip off and played a game no worries

Any suggestions? a fix for this i will even do a $5 paypal transaction for your troubles :)

have you tried another controller or the other ports?

Also this is a known symptom w/ flashbios 3.03 and newer v1.6B systems with Xtal systems with Samsung Ram.

Since youve mentioned youve installed chips in the past, there are a few options for you:

1) use a programmer or pickup a programmer and flash the chip that way.
2) put your x2.6 LITE in another non v1.6B system and flash the chip
3) use a flashed chip on your current xbox and hotswap then flash.
4) if all else fails check the forums at: http://www.team-xecuter.com

my programmer is broken atm thats why im looking to this forum!

i tried all the ports but no luck unfortuanetly.

i dont have another chip handy atm either so i may be out of luck till i can organize another programmer, thanks for the fast response, if anyone else has any idea's i will be happy to hear them

Try another xbox or maybe a friends, if its non v1.6B you will be able to reflash the bios on that.
