Azureus, Superseeding problem PLS HELP!!!

I recently found a few good movies on azureus. id like to send them to my neighbour who shares my internet connection, yea im generuous lol
Anyways i want to send him one of these movies. i hear superseeding on the same Network is VERY fast. Plus it would help my share ratio out. Ive tried everything i just dont know whats wrong. I use azureus embedded tracker and host the file or w/e then send him the tracker URL link thing. It either says "my machine actively refused it" and wont let him download. Or Error Offline[timed out] If anyone has the time to walk me through this process id be VERY Greatful

If not a walkthrough suggestions are more than welcome also

First off, superseeding is USELESS when seeding to 1 person, it's only good on limited connections when seeding big files.
As for the refused connection, there could be a whole number of things causing it, so so more info in what hardware you're using, how the connection is set up, etc. would be good, otherwise it'll be difficult to help you.

Ok Fiend

i appologize for the lack of info :P

Im currently running on Raodrunner Highspeed [time warner] im using a surfboard mottorola modem and a linksys router. 2.4ghz [B] on WINDOWS XP SP2. The computer i want to send the file to is on my same network like i said. i believe he is running XP SP 1. Hes running off a wireless connection at his place next door. Now all ive done in my router settings is opened up like 10 ports ranged from 11660 to 11670.

I was told that i needed to set up a tracker wich i still think i have done correctly. I used the Azureus embedded tracker. wich says my addy or w/e is

http://67.8.54.123/announce [does this need one of my open ports added to this with a : after the .123 maybe?]


I have my file "hosted" with this tracker and i send my friend the link to type in his Utorrent. I get this link by right clicking on my tracker and copying the URL to clipboard then Pasting it to him Via Yahoo or ICQ ect.

When he types this in he gets that damn machine actively refused it error!!

ive been trying to do this forever it seems like, and im usually pretty good wasting all day figuring something out but im really stumped Fiend :D

Ive no Firewalls Active or Installed for that matter. And XP firewall is Disabled. im really not sure if i need to allow a connectin from his specific IP to be made to me in my router settings or what.

Im beginning to wonder if its my Azureus settings thats are screwing me up instead of my router.

I hope this is enough info for you to come to a conclusion fiend. If for any reason its not, please let me know any other info you may require.

I really appreciate you taking the time to help me.

What seems to be missing here is the torrent files, since i haven't seen you mention making new torrent files (or a single file that cmbines all movies) and sending it to him.

He can't just connect to you, you need to make a torrent file that points to your Azureus's internal tracker and tells his computer what it should download. You should be able to figure out what to do from there on your own, but if you can't make it work, by all means, report back, and we'll try and help you from there.
