I have AR Max, Xploder V4 and Swap magic with slide tool. I'm trying to get the cheat codes to work from either Xploder V4 or AR Max with my Backed up games, i have read some of the other topics but they are not very clear, would somebody be able to post a proven proceedure for either Xploder or AR max. Thanks in advance
1. Load up the Xploder
2. Select game codes you want to activate & press start to go back to main menu.
3. Select to start game with active codes
4. PS2 drawer will open on older version PS2, or disc will stop spinning on PS2 slim. Pop in your Swap Magic disc (CD if you are going to load a CD Game or a DVD game that also requires the use of CDLoader to boot, DVD version if DVD game)
5. Close PS2 drawer/lid. Allow a few seconds for Swap Magic to be read by PS2, then press X.
6. Swap Magic will load & SM screen appear.
7. Use Swap method to change SM disc for game disc/CDLoader & proceed as normal
thanks for the reply, i have already tried this, it freezes on the last screen after i have selected PAL. i'm using swap magic 3.8 coder but i dont like using the code part as it uses an outdated action replay codes which you can no longer get codes for. does it make any difference wether i use normal, special or sm boot to start the game?
