ok, i got a backup of splinter cell chaos therory. ok. now it is pal. and my ps2 is ntsc. u see the problem. well not really. i converted it to ntsc with the "PAL TO NTSC WITH Y-FIX" program. burned the game again. and it came up good. but when i went to Solo game. IT WENT PAL AGAIN! i thought that program was supose to convert it FULLY to ntsc.
Any ideas on why this isnt working?

Please reply soon. this is annoying not being able to play this.

It doesn't convert it to NTSC at all to be honest. Any PAL2NTSc or NTSC2PAL 'converter' only adjusts the X & Y-Fix to suit your TVs signal capacity.

You say your PS2 is NTSC but is your TV? If your TV can handle PAL & NTSC signals, then you shouldnt need to 'convert'.

If not, and your TV has a scart socket in the back, then buy a PS2 RGB Scart lead, which will automatically convert the signal so its playable.

ok. well see i burned the game without knowing it was PAL till i played it and the screen rolled and it was in black and white. also i dont have a scart thing in the back of my tv. so. im like stuck here. i know people have gotten it to work with there NTSC systems but.

sry for double post but. i turned on my ps2 went to swapmagic and did NTSC settings and speical boot and it works perfect. ^_^ i dont know how but it does.
