I have several feature length productions which were edited/composited in Final Cut Pro and transcoded directly to M2V format for me to author into their respective DVD incarnations.

Previously I have encoded the M2V myself from the original AVI or whatever, but for logistical purposes I had them supply me with the pre-encoded M2V files.

But when I import these into Adobe Encore DVD for authoring I can only view a certain portion of the footage. From the beginning to a certain point is fine, but the end third (I am in the process of checking the missing percentage) has dissapeared.

These files open correctly on the Mac platform they were rendered on (and apparently on a PC laptop) but I have tried them on 4 PC all running XP pro and it has the exactly same shorter duration.
The PC's I have tested the M2V footage on are of various makes (mainly custom builds) and are several years difference in age.

There footage plays at the correct speed (the separate AIFF audio is rendered fine) with no stretching or fast-forwarding.

I am assuming this is a common problem (as I have it across several machines) but I can't find any instances on these forums, google and a few other forums.

Any assistance you can offer would be greatfully received, please let me know if you need any further info, I will try my best to supply it.
