Well recently my gold account expired on the one-month free thing and now i cant sign on to xbox live.I try signing into xbox live(in Halo 2 and i think this might be the problem)and it says "Cannot connect to xbox live would you like to start troubleshooter" and
so i click start troubleshooter which really isnt out of the ordinary cause sometimes ill need reset my 360 or my router ect. but when
I get to the the troubleshooter screen evrythingis okay it just wont let me sign inor itll say cannot connect to xbox live or it'll say NAT Strict im going to call the support line but any help now would be greatly appreicated.

Sorry if I'm mastaken, but u said your gold expired. U cannot play games online without gold! The only thing u can do with silver is enter the marketplace from the dashboard.

lol, yeah kkre is correct, even though it's an xbox1 title you need to have a gold membership to play online against others, so that would be your problem right there. will it sign you in when your on the 360 dash so you can view marketplace?

well thats the reason then but I do have another question i have a gold membership but its screwed up.I tried migrating it so i would have it on my 360 and i copied the account information verbatim during the account information but it wouldnt accept it so i went into account recovery
and got my account on my 360 that way but whenever i try to sign into any game online it says"you have an important message from xbox live,to play online go into account management and recieve the message and it has a tab to select and press:"go to account managment" and when i go there theres no message at all and it loads the game again:this is why i got a free membership in the first place.

it should be fine after your recover gamertag, you could try deleting your profile and recovering it again, just to see if it would fix it, or call 18004myxbox
