I am perplexed about this problem I have and I hope someone out there can help me.
I have 2 computers, A & B. I took the hard drive out of A and installed it into B. The hard drive is partitioned and has win 98 installed onto it. When I booted up B now (with the "new" hard drive installed) I was unable to detect my cd-rom drive, i.e. the drive was not found and therefore the drive letter was not assigned. I think it has to do with the partitioned HD (being C & D)and the drive letter not being assinged to the cd-rom drive (which normally is D). I tried a new cd-rom drive just in case but with the same results. Is there something I am missing because I would hate to do anything with the HD I installed since I need to get some data off of it.

Thank you
