hi every body,
hope somebody can help me please,
last night i tried to burn a svcd as a mini dvd from a film i downloaded on to a 700 cd but nero informed me that the disk was not large enough but if gave me a option of reducing quality to make it fit on the disk witch i clicked ok, and it burned grate no problems, now when i try to the same thing i do not get that option.
i am a complete novice to burning films and i would realy be glad if someone could help me many thanks in advance.

Look at the chart along the bottom of the window. It is telling you what the capacity of the currently selected burn media is and how much you are using, based on the preset burn settings.

If your data exceeds the capacity of the medium, you should get that message. Otherwise, it will burn at your requested settings.

I would suppose, that if you are already at minimum settings and the data was still too large, it might not offer you that option, but you would have to check your burn settings.

In NeroVision 4 if you are on the DVD Titles page you can hold the mouse over the file and it will show the burn settings it is using. If you are editing, the mouseover will show the information about the actual file.
