I have bought the package of anydvd, coledvd2 and clonecd. When i back up with clonedvd and try to get main movie only half the time i get the movie with only directors comments.In the preview box i only get the video, so and no sound to hear what i am about to record. Is this normal? When i do the same movie in shrink with anydvd running the shrink preview window has sound. The last one that i got only directors comment only was ice age. Could not figure which file to choose, lost 3 dvd's on it trying to figure it out, shrink works great, sorry i bought dvdclone now> Will not recomend it to anyone>
In the preview, the video is going so fast, the audio would not be able to keep up, thus why you can't hear it.
IceAge: Pick all the titles that you want, but decide whether you want widescreen or fullscreen as both are included. Quality should be 100%.
Next screen: Pick English AC-3/6 (Not AC-3/2, as this will be director's comments) Even if you don't have a 5.1 system, you will still have audio. Now you are good to go.
Most backups I have done will list a separate audio for director's comments, Ice Age unfortunately does not. As a rule, just pick 5.1. For DTS you must have a DTS compliant setup or you definitely won't hear any sound from your back up.

One guy watched 15mins into Donnie Darko before he realised that it wasnt the movie dialogue but the director's comments...
I've ripped literally over 5000's DVD's with CloneDVD2 (with AnyDVD loaded into RAM obviously), they're great programs!
