dont get the spider gx solderless chip, its imposible to install.... it says its easy, but the tiny pins wouldnt fit into the holes on my motherboard, but if you have a earlier version xbox (i have a 1.6) you will only have to insert 1 pin into 1 hole and that would make it alot easier...

i do have a ver 1.0 and i might just stick this chip in there, but im considering just doing the softmod instead, cus i shorted something on my 1.6 board trying to install the spider gx chip

smartxx LT OPX SE it is $38.99 USD w/ a v1.6 solderless adapter and it comes with twice the bios capacity as the LITE chip and its own OS unlike the LITE chip.

Google for: smartxx LT OPX SE you will find plenty of resellers that sell this chip.

blade, i would recommend not putting a chip in a 1.6 board, cus you will have to fit the wires in like 5 different little tiny holes on your board for the solderless adapters.... its a huge pain in the ass and i screwed up my 1.6 trying this with the spider gx chip, but that one you linked to looks like the same type of adapter with little wires that fit into tiny little holes.... get a older xbox or just softmod the 1.6

If you use a higher quality chip such as the SmartXX w/ 1.6 Spider Adapter your installation will be a breeze. Also I suggest making sure there is no LAQURE over the points where you install the solderless adapter, this can cause issues when installing the chip. Some 1.6 Motherboards have extra laqure over the points in an attempt to hinder the modding process.

Most shops ship worlwide and keep the values low so you are not charged high VAT or any VAT...
