Ok, so here's my problem.
I'm in my way of subtitling one of my DVDs (witch doesn't have any).
I've already followed the whole process flawlessly and came out with a perfect subbed DVD.......so "where's the problem?" you will ask.
The problem is that some dialogues overlaps in time on my original ass file (which i convert to srt in subtitle workshop and sup in subtitlecreator or srt2sup). Those overlapses are normal and i want to keep them (for exemple, one line at the bottom of the screen for the main dialogue and one line on top for translation explanations or off-voices).
But the thing is that the overlapses seems to get auto-retimed during srt to sup conversion in a way they won't overlap anymore, witch is pretty annoying.
Also, as I said earlier, I want some lines (the overlapping one for instance) to be displayed at the same time at the bottom and top of the screen (dialogue and translation explanations) but subtitler creator doesn't seems to allow individual settings for each subpictures (only global), srt2sup seems to allow that (but with the problems of retimed overlaps)
Someone to help me?
EDIT: Even after having recreated the overlapses under SubtitleCreator, the resulting movie after muxing the generated .sup with the original dvd doesn't display the overlapsed subs at the same time but one after the other (resulting in weird timings).... Is the .sup format unable to handle this (but as it is bitmaps,I don't understand why it wouldn't) or is it an effect of SubtitleCreator conversion to sup?
