Oh God!..
PAL game = PAL Disc ID patched into the iso with WinDIP, console region MUST match the game. ie: PAL. If not, then the only way to play PAL games online will be with a PAL console, or with an old-style 'fat' PS2 that you can use Paradox Machine ID Changer on to change the internal region IDs to a PAL/(your region) hybrid so you can play games from BOTH regions.
NTSC (US) game = NTSC (US) Disc ID patched into the iso with WinDIP, console region MUST match the game. ie: NTSC (US). If not, then the only way to play NTSC games online will be with an NTSC (US) console, or with an old-style 'fat' PS2 that you can use Paradox Machine ID Changer on to change the internal region IDs to an NTSC (US)/(your region) hybrid so you can play games from BOTH regions.
NTSC (JAP) game = NTSC (JAP) Disc ID patched into the iso with WinDIP, console region MUST match the game. ie: NTSC (JAP). If not, then the only way to play NTSC games online will be with an NTSC (JAP) console, or with an old-style 'fat' PS2 that you can use Paradox Machine ID Changer on to change the internal region IDs to an NTSC (JAP)/(your region) hybrid so you can play games from BOTH regions.
The drawback with JAP games is; 1. there are not many IDs around, 2. Custom generation of new IDs is virtually impossible, 3. Many JAP games are pay-to-play, 4. Many JAP games are region specific through IP check - if your IP isn't from a JAP region, it won't let you play or 5. Many JAP games are pay-to-play & region specific.
That help?

Do you have a 'fat' v1 - v7 PS2? If not, then you can't change console IDs, and won't be able to go online on a NTSC game.

Yes, if you post the correct, needed, information. ie: The SLUS number from the elf file on the disc.

perry, do you need your hand held for everything?
Its a cd image (bin/cue), so you use a prog like Nero to burn to CD-R
And try reading the included xcel spreadsheet (you will need Microsoft Office to open it) to find out how it works.

perry101, reduce your sig to forum spes of 50k asap or be banned, your choice!!
2. An image-only signature should be less than 50kb in size, and be at most 500 pixels wide and 200 pixels tall.
4. If you want to use both text and image in your signature the image should not be more than 500 pixels wide and 100 pixels tall, and you can use up to three lines of text.

Is there anyway to patch a game already on my ps2 HD? I tried patching NCAA 07 but it just gave me a DNAS error when I went online.
I'd rather just repatch it on the drive instead of having to transfer it over my network again.
edit: I just found a mention of this in this very thread, about how you can't play online with HD games. That message was from April, so I'll ask again. Has anything changed with playing HD games online? I really don't want to have to bother with pulling the tray out and messing with swapping discs...
