How do I upload xboxs to 360?

I spoke to xbox staff via telephone, and asked them how to upload xbox games to my 360 harddrive, and if it was legal.
He told me he didnt know how to do it, and that I may ask around on xbox live. He also said that they(xbox/microsoft) are currently working on something to allow ppl to upload to the harddrive, so he wasnt sure if it was legal or not.
I dont have or use xbox live so I thought Id ask around here if anyone had a link or an idea on how I would upload xbox games to my 360 harddrive.

Can't be done. I think at least half the Live customer service people never ever played an Xbox.

If you can burn xbox games to a dvd, I dont see why you cant burn em to
a hardrive.
I think it can be done, I hope it can be done.
But maybe youre right, I hope not though.

Well 1st of all burnt Xbox games can be played on a modified Xbox. Xbox 360 isn't the same thing as an Xbox and definately not the same thing as a modded Xbox. It plays games by emulating Xbox. MS designed the emulator. Do you really think they would allow it to play any type of copied game?

You can download software to play old xbox games on 360.

Just because microsoft doesnt make a program
that will work, doesnt mean someone else wont.
The PSP does a ton of things it wasnt designed for,
why not the 360.
I have a few ps2 games that are burnt onto a DVD+R
that play on my PS2, and my PS2 isnt modded at all.
Both my slim ps2 and regular work.

This is possible NOW running windows MCE edition.

IMPOSSIBLE maybe on a RARE ver1 console but UNMODDED
on a slim line.
I THINK NOT here is why.

PS2 games are actually pressed DVD/CD discs, they are not burned. PS2 games use the Burst Cutting Area (BCA) of the disc to identify themselves to the PS2 unit. The BCA is not part of a disc that you can burn on, it is only replicated on pressed discs.
So, the only way to play backups is to get boot-discs or a mod-chip.

I wasnt compareing them, I was just saying that ppl makeconsoles/handjelds do lots of things they werent created for.

Do you have a link for the xbox live tutorial?
I cant find it.

The emulator software to play old XBOX games is pre-loaded in the 360 hard drive and it will only play original (not burned) XBOX games on disc.

I don't believe it would be that great to upload games to the 360 HDD, since it has so little space. The first step should be finding a way to upgrade the HDD.
