Dearest forum :-)
I need some help here. I am not interrested in copying a DVD, I am only interrested in copying parts of a DVD.
My problem is that I am trying to rip a DVD into smaller parts, and then burn the smaller parts on a new DVD - in DVD format. I have a ripping program, that rips the selected part into *.VOB files. But when I burn the *.VOB files to a DVD, I am not able to play the DVD on my DVD player. Thats probely because I am not burning the *.IFO & *.BUP files as well from the orig. DVD. But I dont know what to do with the IFO & BUP files. I can rip the VOP files but not the IFO & BUP files. What shall I do with the IFO & BUP files from the DVD. Does anyone know a program that can rip parts of af DVD and born as well. I sure somebody can help me get this thing working, cause I cant get through this damn problem.

What movie is the DVD and what parts are you wanting to rip, If it is a newer dvd then you will have to rip it with DVDFab Decrypter then run it through VobBlanker then DVD Shrink. Shrink will let you Re-Author it and do what parts you want then burn them. If the movie is an older dvd then Shrink alone should take care of the problem and allow you to do the parts you want to. DVD Shrink cannot be updated as it is out of date but still very useful. You can also use AnyDVD and DVD Clone II as they are free on a 21 day trial demo. The others I mentioned are free programs and AnyDVD and Clone will cost you after the trial ends. Good Luck.....

What about the IFO & BUP files. Will they automaticly be created with program You just refered to?
