Hi all, I've tried everything I can think of and all the suggestions I could find on here but I can't seem to make a back up of Fifa Street 2 to play on my modded PS2.
Can anyone talk me through it (slowly please I'm a relative newbie)
Thanks in advance.
i suggest you get yourself a program called "dvd decrypter" and then just place your game into your pcs dvd drive and click mode, iso , read. this will rip your .iso to your hard drive and from there click mode, iso, write. find your iso and click burn. i advise burning on maxell dvds at X4 speed
Hi again, I can't remember exactly which chip but I think it is a 'neo' something, its a few years old now and works well, I have to insert an original disc first then the backups work fine.
Alienator, I've tried what you suggest and it doesn't seem to work, I've read somewhere on here that some games need to be patched, is this one of them? If so where do I get a patch and how do I apply it?
Thanks
@needs maxells come under first class media and are one of the best media to use, i also have verbatims but i beleive my maxelss do a better job for ps2 games, as for saying theyre cbad media, just to let you know it didnt need patching and it played amazing on my maxells. they also have a great lasting life as all my ps2 game si burned 2 years ago still work. and another question have you ever tried maxells that you are commenting on them so easily.
quoted from that thread:
"1ST CLASS MEDIA
Almost flawless burns with 95-100% reliable results:
PVC = Pioneer (Japan) = (-R)(-RW) ... media is no longer made
MXLRG0x = Maxell (Japan) = (-R)(-RW)
YUDENT, TYG0x = Taiyo Yuden,Verbatim (Japan) = (-R)(+R)
MCC, MKM = Mitsubishi Chemicals (Singapore/Taiwan) = (-R)(-RW)(+R)(+RW)
SONY0xD = Sony (Japan/Taiwan) = (-R)(-RW) "
welll the maxells i use work amazing for me so i reckon ill continue to use em, while i belive my verbatims arent as good as my maxells. i also have another first class media, mitsubishi which i use mainlyfor film burning. also amazing to burn on
