I have tried encoding several different AVI files into DVD format and every time, the video output on the TV is larger than the screen size and the edges are cut off. I have looked through several of the forums and have seen some people mention a similar problem but have not been able to find a fix. This happens for 16:9 videos (the left and right edges are cut off when playing on my home DVD player and PS2 (they play ok on the computer). It also happens for 4:3 videos, all 4 edges are equally missing when playing back on my home DVD player. Is there any reason that this would happen for AVI->DVD conversion. I have tried VSO convertXtoDVD and Nero Vision 3 / 4. Can anyone help?
