hi all

120gb hd
windows mce2005
9550 128mb ati graphics
phillips dvdrw
512mb ram
athlon 1ghz proc

i have a big problem which is bugging me and wondered if there is anyone out there who can put some light on my problem.
at first i thought it was my dvd writer but as you can see its not , iv tried 6 different programs to burn avi,mpeg files to dvd,vob ive used nero,roxio,winavi,ect iv tried burning to disc as well as an image file on my hd and i keep having the same problem. the write,convert process gets to about 10 mins and then my screen goes black and i have to reboot its almost like the hd doesnt want to know or iv run out of memory is there a conflict with hardware or is it that my spec isnt high enough pleeeeeeeeeease help

I dont know but you have a very slow processor that might have something to do with it.

Are you running both Roxio and Nero installed at the same time? This is known to cause problems as they conflict with each other.
