I have a couple of films in avi all about 650mb, when i play them on windows media player on one computer they play fine in either full or wide screen. The problem is when I move them accross to my second computer they seem to loose their edges, is this a codec problem?

Also if I have a avi which has a border all the way round it how do I convert it so it goes full screen, I use convertXtodvd, Nero 7 or avi2dvd to do all my re-encoding to dvd. I much prefere ConvertXtodvd because its good, easy and fast.

Any help? many thanks

Rob

I don't know about the border problem of your AVI.... and I also use ConvertXToDVD, it's great! but if you are having a problem with the codec then download and install K-Lite Codecs Pack.... it fixed my problems with Codecs!

http://www.free-codecs.com/download/K_Lite_Codec_Pack.htm

it's easy and it works!
