Hi i recently bought a computer with nero oem 6 and dvd/cd burner installed.I'm new to burning so please bear with me. I download off limwire and nero burns cd's fine, but when i try to burn a video nero tells me i need a dvd-video plug-in (cant watch dvd movie in nero showtime either) i've looked at free dvd plug-ins on the net but dont know which one to download. I think i may need more than a dvd-plug-in. Can anyone please help me.

Which version of oem 6 did you get? I got one that had a pop up about digital audio. Is that the one you are getting?

@ stuck11

Got your pm. There are several versions of oem 6 that are more up to date. I use 6.6.0.18. The first thing I would do is update to that version as it is an error free version. I am copying a link that gwendolin put in a previous post.

Uninstall your current version, run this clean tool
http://ww2.nero.com/nero6/en/Clean_Tools.html

and then install this version of 6.6.0.18

http://httpdl1.usw.nero.com/software/Nero6/Nero-6.6.0.18_no_yt.exe

As for trying to drag the movie, go into recode 2 and drag it in under "My Disc" section. From there you should be able to remove menus or extras so that the movie will fit on one disc. This should work fine unless you are in a format like AVI. If that is the case, I would suggest you pm gwendolin or LOCOENG for some assistance. They have both been very helpful for me.

Good Luck with that. Be sure to post your results so we can all be sure you were successful.
