I have an actiontec DSL modem here but i don't want to use it as the router because I have more hardware PC's than wireless so I have my Linksys router connected through it. Before the DSL i had Cable and all the ports that I had forwarded through the linksys worked perfectly (even when i switched back to the cable modem, just to check), now they don't work. I've tried forwarding the ports throught the actiontec, but to no avail. I'm not sure if i should forward the ports to the ip of the router, or the the ip that my pc has. The actiontec had DHCP enabled and its local ip is 192.168.0.1. The linksys had DHCP disabled and my comp connects to it with the local ip of 192.168.186.100.

I'm guessing that the linksys's local ip is 192.168.0.2 becase that is the ip that the computer gets assigned when i direct connect it to the actiontec. but i could be wrong.

I would really aprishiate anyhelp givin very much.

P.S.
The actiontec has all factory settings except that the wireless is off .
