I have a Compaq evo n1020v (laptop) with a toshiba SD-R2312 combo drive.

It will read and write cds for fun all day, but will not play or play dvds. It just sits and clicks and shows an empty folder.

Any ideas?

I was using WinDVD to view dvd's previously. Cheers
