Can anyone advise. I've recently had problems playing cd's which I've
burned. There's a clicking noise(more like a skip) which becomes irritating which can
be
heard as loud as the music. Is it the cd's I'm using (Maxell,)the rewriter or the player ??? Your response would greatly be appreciated.

It could be the cd's - try a different make
It could be the speed at which you are burning them - try a lower burn speed
it could be the player in the car - try a skipping cd in a different player
it could be the burner - try a cd burnt on a different drive

in my experience it is the burn speed that causes most problems in car cd players but all 4 of the above can cause probs!

happy testing
