Cant hear Audio Converting Avi to mpeg 24 Season 4

Hi guys,

I downloaded 24 season 4 and Im trying to convert it to mpeg so I can burn it to dvd but Im having some problems.

1- When I open an episode on tmpgenc or tempgnc Xpress the video is ~43 mins long but the audio is ~2 hours long.

So I cut the clip in Xpress so that it ends where the video ends at ~43 mins but then the output has no sound.

If I convert using tmpgenc without cutting the clip I get a 1.2 gb file poutput instead of a ~400 mgb file that I should get, and also I get no sound.

I have no idea what Im doing wrong. Ive used Temgenc and tmpgenc Xpress allot without any problems
