hey ppl my 13 yr old nephew has been downloading porn and i need to stop it im using a program to stop him visiting the sites but he uses ares for downloading music which he can access the porn is their a program that can stop the porn being downloaded or can i use a program so he cannot watch it

Well, unless you want to get sued for him downloading music, uninstall Ares, because I'm quite sure that at 13 he's not taking the necessary steps toward protecting you.

I work with children myself, and I use cybersitter on all the computers @ work. It's not bulletproof, but then nothing is.

If I were you, I would ban him off the computer for a week on general principles. Then step it up a notch. One of the things cybersitter does is allow you to schedule what times the computer is able to access the network @ all. It also allows blocking of specific software, etc.

Beyond that, you could use something like Zone Alarm or something similar to block access to the programs, but it won't prevent downloading.

Both of those programs are password protected, so you're fairly safe.
