hi i just bought a new minidv camcorder when i transferred the movie to my computer it recorded in windows movie maker which svaes it not in a dvd format. Cn any any one help me in how to convert that movie to dvd format and then make a dvd out of it.

try VSO's ConvertXToDVD..... they have a free version of it but it leaves a watermark logo on the final product. Just see if this will suit your needs.

it's great program and it's fast & easy! just add the files you want to convert to DVD format and it does all the rest! it will even make menus and burn the DVD!
