help! I cant get my torrent application to download anything. According to the status bar, NAT reachability status is unknown, hence a gray dot, and that the DHT is firewalled, hence a yellow dot. I've done everything I that I know of to get it up and running. The port I specified is already forwarded, and unblocked in the firewall, made sure that Azureus granted full access to the internet. I even tried to put my PC in the DMZ but it was no use. When I used Azureus' NAT/Firewall test, it says that the port I specified was OK. I also ran the port-scanner found in AzureusWiki, and it showed me that the port was open. I also installed BitTorrent, but it didnt work either. What else should I do? It's my first time to use torrents.

By the way, I have Windows XP Home w/ SP2 (Build 2600) and McAfee Internet Security 2006.

I hope someone can help me with this problem.

SP2 includes a firewall. Either disable it or make an exception rule.

I'm QUITE positive that your "internet security" package does as well, and will also require an exception rule. It should be as easy as navigating to the location of Azureus (c:program files/azureus) and telling it to let Azureus.exe do whatever.

Everything is set in Windows Firewall and McAfee internet security, therefore supposedly granting Azureus unrestricted internet access. However, it still doesnt work.
