When my shop was burgled I declared my phone as stolen and claimed the insurance. I have since found it at home and I am reluctant to go back to the insurance company as they have been complete b*stards over my claim (which was legitimate). However I was told by a friend that I can get traced if I switch it on, is this true?

Can anybody explain what I can do?
