xbox themes and demos via ipod???

i was wondering see as though you can acess files from your ipod on xbox 360 is it possible to download themes and demos off internet and put them on ipod to play on xbox and also movies if i put a valid video format file on ma ipod would i be able to play it on xbox cos it has the vide file but nothing in it ?? could some1 look into this please

first, i don't have an ipod. but.
from reading, you can't copy your music files from the ipod to the 360HD so therefor i don't think you'd be able to transfer themes and or demos from the internet and transfer them via ipod to ur 360. the video thing, i'm not sure of, since i don't know if the xbox360 supports the videos from the 30/60GB Ipod video. u could always try it, i can't think of any harm it would cause if it didn't work.

no but you can copy background files ie jpegs into the 360 to use as your backgraound but by doing so you will get banned off of the xbox live gold service so no not a good idea
just purchase microsoft points and purchase themes

tampering w/ settings would be considered a mod, so therefore since modding isn't condoned on xbox live, it would be a ban-able offense, since i'm guessing there's a way to check if somethings missing a signature, or whatever.

^^^Is that a joke, or has you IQ level dropped? Changing wallpaper...a mod..yeah right!!!
BTW:I don't think it is possible anyway, I think you can only stream music and pictures to your 360, not actually transfer them.

you can change the wallpaper to your own custom wallpaper but by doing so you will get band

To change your wallpaper just use a storage device and look at you r pictures in the pictures column. Then just highlight over the picture and click the X Button.

You most definitely do not get banned if you use a custom image as your background. When I created my XBL account I was using a custom background. The thing you can't do is put a different picture on each blade. That is reserved for themes you must purchase.

hey lcar-
i was assuming they would do have to do something more indepth then 'click x' and since M$ is all anti-hack, if changing by a click wasn't allowed then, it'd be a mod (basically)[changing the background on a 1.5psp is accessing and writing to flash so it's a mod that voids ur warrenty/support] so they(m$) could have there little sh!tfit about it if they wanted, i was assuming you'd have to do something like digging a little deeper into the 360 OS or something along those lines. and megsy was talking about themes, not single pictures, and if u can't do it to individual blades, it's not really worth it. and john's still saying you get banned, i personally don't want to find out, but ah nevermind.
when will M$ allow us to create our own themes, via a .com or purchasing software, whatever? (that's the real question)
one more point, if someone was able to do that on their own, don't u think M$ would have something to say about circumventing their security?

O right, sorry about that smurff, thought it was strange coming from you(you didn't really make yourself clear in the first post, I didn't realise you meant hacking in the back-screen) But I still don't think you would be banned from xbox live for doing that, mainly because only so much data gets sent over live to microsoft, mainly the BIOS data.
