I need the fist of ruin to break a statue near the wushi academy but donw know how to get the fist of ruin. can anyone help me?

have you fought kitana so when you defeat her and her freinds you will have the fist of ruin so you must go to the evil monatery there is a test your might make it it will comme out spikes throw peapole in the spikes and when you go up staires you will see that the door is open and after all i'm 11 years old and i already finished the game
