I have heard somewhere that it is possable to burn psx games onto some type of blank and for it to work fine in your ps2 WITHOUT the need of any "xtras" like a mod chip or magic mod/disks.

I beleave it was the blank black bottem memorex disk's. Can anyone give me some feedback about if this works or not? Or if it dose on any type of disk?

Basicly I don't want to use a mod chip on my ps2, so on a side note question; any way to play any burned ps2 games on the ps2 without it? I know of the magic stuff and I have checked that out, just wondering if there is another way to go about it.

Mainly wondering about the psx for ps2 tho. My psx craped out on me and I had a mod chip in that for burnt games, so all my disks are totaly useless now. So if all I have to do is just reburn them onto new cds or in a diff way (Speed or something) then any help towards that would be highly useful to me,

thanks.

I was just reading a little bit about usbexreme, is that ps2 games only? Or could I buy say.. a 200gb hhd and just load that up with my psx games? Each one is what.. 500-700mb so that would take most if not all of my psx games.

Or dose that too need a mod chip? =\

If you already have a ps1 you could just do the swap trick

ps3 with 20gb hard drive

xbox 360 premium edtion with vga/hd hook up to my dell 20.1 inch widescreen lcd.

White and black 1.5 psp's

I'll take this down WHEN micro$oft decides to stop being lazy and make the capcom fighting games backwards compatible with the 360 dammit!!!

Breaker Pro works great with a PS2 or PS1 for playing burned PS1 games. Also if you have a fliptop, you could try a PS1 Action Replay. I can boot most PS1 on my PS2 using just that. I like it because it's faster than Breaker Pro, but Breaker Pro is more reliable.
