OK well all know that you have to use high grade media TY, Verbatim, Maxwell ETC.... but which standard is better for ps2 DVD-R or DVD+R(booktyped to DVD ROM) i have a V12 slimline with a DMS4 Pro S.E which standard is better meaning easier on the lens more compatible and reliable ?

If you can bootype to -ROM then I think DVD+R is better.

ah, the age old question.
the problem is you are going to get 15 different answers on any question having to do with media. Which is better?
well that all depends on what you burner does the best job on and what your PS2 laser likes the best. So the real answer is neither.
Booktyping with +R is said to be great and very compatible, which is true. But i have also used 8X DVD-R for 2yrs now and i never had any problems with those. +R is the newer of the two types. BUt either one will work just fine. I think that the -R being older is the more all around compatible format.
