is it just me or do menus get corrupted if you burn more than 1 disc?

I was just testing some dvd+rw media and noticed that the dvd burned had corrupt menus. I had already burned a backup copy, which worked fine, menus and all, earlier and decided to burn it again to test some media I just got. I noticed that of the two dvds on my hard drive I tried, one wouldn't play at all (blank screen) and the other had menus that did not work. I noticed this earlier but didn't realize that the files get corrupted after the first one or two burns...

Interesting.

I used dvd shrink (I think) to get these files on my hard drive.

anyone else find this to be the case?
