ok so since i have two x boxs ( one modded and a factory one ) i decided to mod the factory one, so since im a noob i burned the freaking motherboard trying to solder the chip on ..... now i have to buy a new motherboard since im not planning on throwing the rest of the x-box away

so i go to this web site and i see that they sell the motherboard i need and it already come pre modified with the aladdin chip the bad news for me is that they put this in huge fonts "This board will arrive with a legal Cromwell flash bios installed. When you power it on via the power button or eject you will be presented with a 3.01 flash bios screen. You will need to have a plan to flash the chip with another bios other than the included easy to use flash bios".[bold/] wtf i sthat suppossed to mean? does that means that i wont be able to play my backups? i have no idea were to find "the right kind of bios" starting because i dont even know which are the bios that i need in order to play my backups

anyways can anybody help me figure out how to pull this off , im going to buy this premodified motherboard but i have no idea what do they means with all that bios crap? whats a cromwell? and which are the bios that i need to get ?

What kind of Aladdin chip is it? For bios, get them from the AID 3 disk available at xbox-hq.com at this link: http://www.xbox-hq.com/html/postt13233.html Your best bet would be to go with the m8plus bios.

thanks man ,so now that i downloaded the aid3 file what do i do ? i got a bunch of rar files, which are the ones i need? do i just burn them into a disc and feed it to my x-box?.... sorry to ask such dumb questions but the truth is that im really new at this but i do wanna learn

Just open the first rar file, then open the Auto.Installer.Deluxe.v3.0.Xbox-Hq folder and extract the iso which should be called Auto-Installer Deluxe v3.0.iso. Once you have that extracted, burn it as an image using Nero or Alcohol 120%.
