hi i just want to know a few questions
1) when i backup a game do and put it on a disc that is the last time i will ever need the original copy of the disc sicnce i have the new one now righ?
2)can i just like go to blockbuster and rent a game then take it home and back it up and not get caught?
3)what is the best swap magic version out there now, can u tell me please so i can order mine soon?

1.when you backup a game you don't need the original disc but keep your original games in a safe place.

2.never ask about renting or others keep that to your self or you will be banned

3.any swap magic version will work if you new to this stuff get the swap magic 3.6 or 3.8

Correct, that is the main reason for backing them up. Then you can use the back up disc and put the original away for safe keeping

hahahahaha, well since there is no difference between what Blockbuster has and the game you buy in the store i will let you figure that one out. But piracy is illegal so i would kind of keep that thought to yourself.

same as above 3.6 or above should be fine. Also so that Swap Magic discs alone will not play your back ups. You will need one other mod as well. Which mod depends on what version PS2 you have.

If you do go to Blockbuster and backup a game please dont do what someone else did who wrote to these forums. They used the Blockbuster mail service and sent back the BACKED UP game. LOL ;-)

steimy what is the other mod chip i need other then swap magic i have the slim ps2 and i am looking to buy my swap magic at mod-chip.com is that a good place and which one do u think i should get?

Yep. There's a lot of different versions of the same thing, the main thing you have to be careful is get one that fits your PS2 (I think there are 4 different versions of the slim PS2 at the moment - V12-15)
