If you have Rockbox installed it should start automatically.
But i've got some bad news for you:Rockbox doesn't work for the ipod nano it's only for 5th generation ipod's,it says in lethals tutorial:

THINGS YOU WILL NEED

No.. rockbox works for nanos, but my tutorial only covers the 5g Video iPod as it is the most common.

Don't hold menu when booting, and rockbox will load (if you have installed correctly). If you do hold menu, it will load the normal firmware..

i have it installed but when i restart it. it goes back to the original firmware even if i set the nano down and dont touch it
