hey i recently purchased media center 2005 for my 360 adn i installed it on my pc but whenever i got to the my videos section on my pc through media center it says "files needed to display video are not installed or not working correctly." what is the problem i have all teh codecs i tried ffdshow powerdvd and teh nvidia dvd decoder package but to no avail wat is teh problem

the video file is an mpeg and i am pretty sure my comp is compatible with media center it has 1 gig ram 2.0ghz 100gig hdd and it came installed wit win xp home

have you been to xbox.com and followed all the instructions for MCE and 360? did u try a clean install or an update?

yes i did it step by step from the website and it was a clean install not an upgrade
