I hope this is the right spot for this post...I am trying to backup my copy of constantine and keep getting errors no matter what program i try to use. I have used dvddcrypt,dvd shrink,vobblanker,fabdvd dcrypt,dvd43,anydvd,clonedvd and the list goes on and on...it gets to about 17% and crashes. I am at my wits end with this movie...:(

is this a copy of a copy or is this the ORIGINAL DVD? anyway.... sounds like the disk is defective. AnyDVD and CloneDVD2 should have done the trick for you. Keep AnyDVD up-to-date and you should have no problem. If you are getting CRC (cycle redundancy errors) those are reading errors and that means that your drive is having a hard time reading the disk in that point (17%). Check for scratchs, finger prints and dirt. Clean the disk (some members use windex.. I use jewlery cleaner) and wipe the disk from the inner circle to the outer circle in a straight line. Do not wipe in round circles! that will cause the disk to be useless if you leave a mark on the disk...... use a soft, lint free, cloth! This should help your drive to read the disk better. If this doesn't help then I would return the disk for another copy of the Original DVD! This movie is nothing special to it and has been backed up without problems. good luck.

thanks for the advice...i took a look at the disk and it has HUGE marks all over it....i'll try the windex and see what happens all else fails i'll get another copy...thanks again.
