Well this is my doubt, i have the chance to mod my 360 in order to play backups, but, is it possible that future games could come with some kind of security that today's firmware hack won't let you read those backups? so what do you guys advise me to do?

Anything is possible, i don`t have an X360 myself but i am thinking of getting one. i really hope they won`t be able to do anything about it.
my concearn is, Does the modding let you play the Backuped games on Xbox Live?

patcher? heh, they'll play similar to sony, and require firmware updates*cough*psp*cough*, last i recall, after the March update Backups didn't work anymore so nix on the live. it's risky in my opinion, but hell, if u want to risk the $400 or $500 u spent, go ahead, cuz if it bricks or malfuncs later because of the strain etc. etc. (not to mention if u purchased M$ 2yr Warrenty that's defunkt by ur 'firmware tampering')

I've heard reports people of playing all back-ups on live right now. I'm waiting about a month to see what dashboard updates MS comes out with before I give the firmware hack a try. I'll buy another 360 and keep it out Live if I have too.
